On 29th April 2011, the day of the Royal Wedding in the United Kingdom, people throughout the World will be out and about celebrating… many will be in a wheelchair. 65 million people in the World are in need of a wheelchair and won’t be able to share in this celebration!
Please join us in a global initiative to provide wheelchairs for those 65 million people and to create employment opportunities for disabled people. The initiative is led by Helen Edwards in Sydney, Australia and me, Steve “WheelchairSteve” Wilkinson in the UK.
You can help by simply providing information, on the form below, about a wheelchair accessible place (for example, a restaurant, a cafe, a pub, a bar, a club, a community centre, etc) anywhere in the World where you spent time on 29th April 2011, the day of the Royal Wedding.
Your valuable information will help us engage with those businesses to acquire some wheelchairs and create the work opportunities for disabled people throughout the World.
Thank you.
